Red Bank’s older neighborhoods off Dayton Boulevard are full of 1930s and ’40s Craftsman bungalows built into the hillside below Stringer’s Ridge, with short, steep original staircases that were never sized for a piano. Crew chief Yolanda Briggs handles prep and crating on most of these — padding and boarding the piano in the yard or driveway before it ever touches those narrow original steps, instead of maneuvering a bare instrument up a 90-year-old stairwell.

- Hillside lots below Stringer’s Ridge mean short, steep driveways with tight truck turnaround
- Older homes often lack a side or back entrance wide enough for a piano, so front-door routing gets planned in advance
