Book the Service Elevator Before You Book Us
Most Honolulu high-rises require a reserved elevator window booked through building management, often days or weeks ahead — not a walk-up freight elevator. Confirm your window before you lock in a move date with us, since ours has to match theirs exactly.
Certificate of Insurance
Nearly every high-rise building management company will ask for a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming the building and its management company as additional insured before releasing an elevator reservation.
We send ours as soon as you confirm your address — don’t wait until move week to request it, since some buildings take days to process one.
HOA Move Windows and Loading Dock Realities
Many buildings only allow moves during set weekday hours, and some restrict weekend move-ins entirely. The loading dock itself is often a shared, first-come resource — your reserved elevator time doesn’t guarantee dock space if another unit is moving the same morning.
Padded walls, floor protection, and door-jamb guards are standard requirements in most Honolulu towers, and we bring them as a matter of course, not as an add-on.

If Your Elevator Window Is Tight
Some older Honolulu buildings only offer a two-hour elevator window for a whole move, which isn’t enough time for a full household. When that happens, we split the load — smaller items and furniture disassembled ahead of time, so the window covers what actually needs the elevator.
Ask your building whether a second window is available the same day before assuming a two-hour slot has to cover everything.
Oversized pieces need their own plan
A piano or a large safe doesn’t always fit a standard elevator cab. We check dimensions against your building’s freight elevator before move day, not after the truck arrives.
