What Boca Raton Families Ask Before Move Day, Answered
Is National Relocation a real moving company?▾
Yes — we are a fully licensed and insured local moving company. We run our own trucks and uniformed crews on every job, with Florida movers registration and US DOT/MC authority on file.
How does booking work?▾
Call the office or send a few photos of what's moving, we build a flat-rate quote in writing, and once you sign off we lock in your date.
How is pricing figured out?▾
Most household moves get a flat rate built from a phone walkthrough or the photos you send over — no hourly guesswork and no add-ons once it's in writing.
Is a deposit required?▾
A $200 refundable deposit holds your date and comes off the final invoice; cancel 72+ hours ahead and it's fully refunded.
What's the cancellation policy?▾
Cancel or reschedule at least 72 hours before your move date for a full deposit refund; changes inside that window are handled case by case, so call the office as soon as your plans shift.
What isn't included in a flat-rate quote?▾
The written quote covers your listed inventory, materials ordered in advance, and standard access; items added on move day, long carries beyond what was walked through, or last-minute specialty crating get priced separately before we start.
What happens if something gets damaged?▾
Every move runs under $1M cargo coverage, and any damage claim is handled directly with our office rather than routed through a third party.
How does snowbird season affect scheduling?▾
November through April is our busiest stretch as seasonal residents arrive and leave, so dates on either end of the season book up fastest — reach out a few weeks earlier than you think you need to.
Can you move pets or plants?▾
We don't transport live pets, but potted plants and planters travel fine as regular household items — just flag anything living so the crew packs and loads it last.
Is tipping expected?▾
It's never required and never added to your invoice, but crews appreciate it for a physically demanding job well done — cash on move day is the norm if you choose to.
Do you handle interstate moves yourselves, or hand them to another carrier?▾
We run interstate moves ourselves — the same crew that loads your home in Boca Raton drives the truck and unloads it at the other end, with Gary Feldman himself riding along on many of the bigger East Coast hauls.
